Rep Indiana’s team while celebrating one of the most memorable matches in club history.
Heading into the final matchday of the 2016 spring campaign, Indy needed a lot of things to go their way to hoist the NASL spring season crown. In addition to needing Edmonton to lose the next day, the Boys in Blue also needed to score at least four goals and win by three against North Carolina. Club legend Éamon Zayed bagged three goals and veteran striker Justin Braun added a fourth at the beloved Michael A. Carroll Stadium at IUPUI, giving Indiana’s team the miracle they needed at “the Mike” to become champions.
The match side incorporates a rendition of the city flag of Indianapolis and a checkerboard pattern paying homage to a popular local raceway. The reverse features a brick design inspired by the surface of that same race track, which also happens to be the source from which the club’s largest supporters group draw their name.
