Represent the ladies of Louisville soccer with this floral design.
Not long ago, the thought of professional soccer in Kentucky seemed far-fetched. As for a women’s professional soccer team? Out of this world. But on a warm and wet April evening in front of 5300 fans, that dream become a reality as Louisville played host to Orlando. The hosts got off to an incredible start, with number one draft pick Emily Fox fed a ball through to Cece Kizer for a cool 12th-minute finish. However, the visitors slowly turned the game on its head, leveling before the half and stealing a late lead two minutes from time. But Louisville’s ladies never stopped fighting. Deep in injury time, they leveled the score at 2-2 by way of defender Brooke Hendrix’s first professional goal.
The match side of the design is depicted over top of a depiction of Louisville’s home ground, Lynn Family Stadium. The reverse features a design inspired by the club’s vibrant inaugural home kit and features a layering of purple and white lilies over a lavender background.
